Award Description: The Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET) an apex body of management libraries, including b-schools and corporate libraries, in India has instituted a Best Librarian Award. The librarians of Business/ Management schools in India are eligible to be considered. It consists of a cash award and a citation. A National Committee selects the candidate for this award.

The award is based on the work done and achievements. The contribution towards the development of the profession is one of the main criteria for selecting the awardee.

The Best Librarian Award, 2007 was conferred on Mr. H. Anil Kumar at the 9th MANLIBNET National Convention held at the ICSSR, New Delhi during February 4 – 6 2008.
